I'm personally quite picky when it comes to what I wear on my hands when riding. I will never ride without them, yet a real pet hate of mine is overly thick gloves that obstruct my feeling on the rein.
The Woof Wear Competition gloves are wonderfully light weight and close contact so very little sits between the hand and the rein yet for extra durability the textured palms and reinforced material between the rein fingers mean no rubbing on the hands or thinning of the glove itself.
The elastic over the knuckles is well positioned so there is give when the hand flexes around the rein rather than it being too far down the hand so still pulling tight over the knuckles and being utterly pointless (previous experience if not already apparent).
The gloves simple look and design really appeals to me. Sometimes I do think less is more and the classic look really finishes off any good competition or training look.
