Sedex Approval
At Woof Wear, we are committed to using factories that have a high standard of quality, safety and ethics. SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) is a global non-profit organisation that allows businesses to work together to better manage their social and environmental performance and improve working conditions throughout the supply chain globally.
SEDEX uses its own auditing methodology named SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit), enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions. During an audit the site is assessed based on the organisations’ standards of labour, health and safety, environment and business ethics.
All of Woof Wear’s factories are SEDEX approved, meaning they meet high quality safety, ethical and business standards. You can find more information on SEDEX here.
Okeo Tex Dyes
All of the dyes used in our apparel and horse wear is Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 - a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product.
Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances.
